DESMOND OLUSOLA ELLIOTT; An economist, actor, film-maker and politician, is a Nigerian film star who has used his gift of acting to project Nigeria well to the outside world. He is one of the country’s top film makers who raised the bar of acting and brought a major reform into the film industry through the revival of the cinema culture and the bulk office production.

The talented actor is the legislator representing the good people of Surulere constituency 01 in Lagos State House of Assembly, where his almost two decade experience in acting has earned him the position of the Chairman Committee on Tourism, Art And Culture.

ELLIOTT is a friendly humble and honest personality who loves to respect people’s feelings and aspirations. He will always encourage people around him to develop their dreams ostensibly because he himself once revealed he was influenced to become an actor by a friend.

Established in 2008, The Desmond Elliott foundation is a volunteer –based, non-profit, non-religious charitable organization that gives hope to the hopeless and aids human capacity development in Nigeria and Africa. Its main target groups are youth, women, widows, the elderly and the underprivileged in the society. Some of its projects include; providing clean and safe water for people in rural and urban poor areas, facilitating and creating youth development programs and providing health insurance for the elderly.


SPOKESPERSON SCIMA (Sickle Cell Interactive Management Association)

A volunteer-based organization that creates awareness provides knowledge and in-depth information to the public about the predicament of the genetic disorder, Sickle Cell Anemia.



A non-governmental, non-partisan organization, set up to initiate innovative programs on education, healthcare, autocracy, civic education and good governance.



A Social Responsibility and Advocacy Project by Harvard University for health issues and social issues relating to health, through modern and new media platforms.


The self-proclaimed Pan African was born on 4th February 1975 to a Yoruba father (from Olowogbowo Lagos) and an Igbo mother (from Ilah in Delta state). He obtained a degree in Economics from the Lagos State University (LASU) in 2004 and he has starred in over 200 films. He is today one of the country’s top film-makers.

He is a jolly fellow in the Assembly because he relates well with his colleagues who respect him. He is also the darling of the people of his constituency who see in him a trustworthy and dependable friend. He is a delectable ambassador of good will both for the youth and all.

He started his primary education at Santa Maria primary School, Constitution Crescent, Aba. He passed though St. Mary’s Primary School, Lokoja, Abdulazeez Attah Memorial College, Okene, Christ the King College, Onitsha and Institute for Management and Technology, Enugu. In 1990, Ejike became the President of the Student’s Union Government of the University of Port Harcourt and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Theatre Arts. On Graduation, he became Personal Assistant to Chief Emeka Odimegwu Ojukwu at the 1994 National Constitutional Conference in Abuja.

Ejike is one of the Pioneers of the Nigerian Motion Picture Industry and has immensely contributed to its growth and development in the past 28years. An accomplished director, he has directed numerous feature films including the award winning “Mama Sunday” and has acted in over one hundred of Nollywood’s best home movies. He introduced and popularized the role of artistic directing in Nollywood. In addition to stage drama, he has featured in Nigeria’s best soaps like the New Masquerade and Bassey & Company.
Ejike has several awards of excellence to his credit including ATAS Merit Award 1995, Best Actor of the Year (THEMA) 1996, and best Supporting Actor of the Year (THEMA) 1997, as nominees. He is versatile in all Motion Picture Script to Screen and Stage Production. He is a member of several
professional and human rights associations including National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Electoral Reform Network (ERN) and Citizens Forum for Constitutional Reform (CFCR). He has participated in, convened or deployed his “art” and “act” in various fora, seminars, workshops, conferences and/or focal group discussions to propagate and standup for the rights and interests of the voiceless and down trodden in the society.

Ejike is a staunch advocate of human rights. He uses his professional calling to mirror and redress societal ills. As a tool, he employs drama for civic education and advocacy. His documentary drama for Ford Foundation on the “People’s Constitution” attests to his versatility, He is an unrepentant advocate of good governance, constitutionalism, transparency, gender rights, inclusively, participatory democracy, equal opportunity and the enthronement of the rule of law in a polity where fairness, equity and social justice are erected as base foundations of an egalitarian society. In recognition of his selfless service to his nation and commitment to his professional calling, he was elected National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria in 2004. Ejike was Executive Director, Project Drama Foundation and Chief Executive Officer Forever Commutations Limited. Kabat Esosa Egbon, has close to 30years experience in the Entertainment Industry. He is a Writer, Director and actor, of several Award winning productions ranging from stage to motion Picture.

Considered one of Nollywood’s cerebral Director, he has countless writing and directorial credits for many award winning movies like; ‘Igodo’,’ “Issakaba 2’, ‘Egg Of Life’, ‘My Love’, ‘Across the Niger’, ‘Waters of Gold’ (a project with Princeton University, USA) and many more, as well as Directorial credits for films like ; ‘Azeezat’,’He Lives in me’, ‘Raging Passion’, ‘True Love’, ‘The Perfect Plan’,’Exquires’, ‘Golden Jewel’,’ The Bride’, ‘finding Love’, ‘Blackbird’ etc.

He is responsible for writing and Directing the Classic television soap opera ‘Domino’ as well as other television series like ‘Festac Town’(screenplay credit) to “Husbands of Lagos’ for Iroko tv.

He has also been involved in several workshops, seminars and collaborations such as ; MUTATION WORKSPACE, a German sponsored  project using the internet as a workspace for creating, and sharing ideas, long before the ‘explosion’ of the social and new media space. He was sponsored by Heinrich Boll Foundation as a delegate/speaker at the IDENTITY and GLOBALIZATION conference in Berlin organized by the HEINRICH BOLL FOUNDATION. .

He was also a participant of  ‘OUT OF ANTHROPOLOGY’, a Goethe Institute / 2ebureau (Berlin based performance group, project.

He is a member of the on going PROJECT NOLLYWOOD partnership which is an initiative of the SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY MEDIA DEPARTMENT.

A one time Supervising Producer, for TELEVISTA, owners of SOUNDCITY/ONTV Television Channels, Kabat was also at one time a management staff at IROKOTV where he was part of the Team that set up the Production Unit of the Company (ROK STUDIO).

His experience also covers Television, Management and Media Consultancy. His Skills, Intellect, Teamwork and Leadership abilities have been of considerable importance to several organizations and Clients.

She started her career in the entertainment industry as far back as 2004, where she featured in adverts for well-known Brands such as Nunu Milk, GLO, Coca- cola, and Apple Hair Products.

Her career in Acting can be said to have started with her role in the series ‘Aso-Ebi’ produced by Desmond Elliot for Rok studios, starring the likes of Annie Ibidia, Belinda Effa, Moyo Lawal. She has been featured in movies like Zahra,Morning Karen, The Real Side Chicks many more till date.

She produced her first movie titled Stronger Together (working title ‘Playing Dirty’) in 2017 and has since produced over 10 films till date.

She has a Foundation for people living with Autism called “Efe Irele Autism Foundation” to create awareness and reach families with autistic people which was motivated by her younger brother who is autistic. She was nominated in four categories in the City People Movie Awards ; Revalation of the year, Best new actress, Best Upcoming actress and most promising actress where she bagged two award as the Best new actress of the year and Best Upcoming actress.
